about ana

life and career coach for women living abroad

Hi, I'm Ana.

I've been living abroad as an expat since 2009. Over the years, I've moved countries several times and had to rebuild my life from scratch more than once.

I know how easy it is to lose connection with yourself when so much of your energy goes into adapting, staying practical, and keeping life moving.

Each move came with its own adjustment period, new routines, and difficult decisions, often before life felt stable again. I went from searching for work and trying to find my place in a new country to building a career in international education and working with teams and professionals from more than 50 countries.

my own experience abroad

You adapt to a new environment, focus on what needs to be done, and make decisions based on what seems practical or expected. Over time, it becomes harder to recognise what you want and what direction feels right for you.

I went through that myself. For a long time, I relied on logic, pressure, and what seemed like the sensible thing to do. Underneath that, I felt disconnected from myself and unsure about where I wanted my life to go next.

Over time, I had to learn how to trust myself and my decisions again, even in the middle of constant change and uncertainty.

Gradually, life abroad started to feel calmer and more grounded. I stopped overthinking every decision, got clearer about what mattered to me, and started handling change without losing myself in the process.

That shift did not happen overnight, but it changed the way I experience life abroad completely. It also shapes the way I work today.

who i work with

The women I work with are often managing life well on the outside. They handle responsibilities, work, relationships, and everyday demands. But internally, they often feel disconnected from themselves, emotionally tired, or unsure about what they want next.

Through these experiences abroad, I saw how common it is for women to slowly lose touch with themselves. And through coaching, I help you understand what is keeping you stuck, reconnect with what matters to you, and make decisions with more confidence and self trust.

Because life abroad can feel very different when you trust yourself again.

book a discovery session

If you feel ready for change and want support in creating it, I invite you to book a discovery session.

In this conversation, you will share what feels most important for you right now. We will work through one of your real situations together so you can experience what coaching is like and see what shifts when you have space to think and talk things through differently.

This is not a commitment or the start of a programme. It is simply a chance to meet, ask questions, and see whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
